For Vive Claro, I worked as Co-Creative Director with 8 de Diamantes on a group of permanent art interventions for the venue. The project was developed for La Gallina de Oro, contracted by Páramo Presenta / OCESA / LiveNation.

The idea was to bring the logic of festival experiences into a fixed venue: sculptures, signs, tunnels, and interactive pieces that could become part of Vive Claro’s identity beyond a single event.

Starting point

The venue needed more than functional infrastructure. It needed memorable moments that people could walk through, photograph, recognize, and associate with the Vive Claro experience.

The challenge was to design pieces that felt playful and iconic, but could also be produced, installed, and maintained inside a large entertainment venue.

Problem solving

The work included proposing ideas, defining possible locations, modeling the pieces, preparing final artwork, and coordinating the production logic. Some pieces were modeled traditionally, while others, like the tunnel, used a more parametric approach to control repetition, rhythm, and geometry.

The interventions included sculptural signs, a parametric tunnel, modular seating/installation elements, light-based cubes, and symbolic signage pieces. Each object had to work individually, but also feel part of the same visual ecosystem for the venue.

Implementation

The final design package translated the creative concepts into buildable pieces through 3D modeling, technical drawings, dimensions, material logic, and visual renders. The work moved from concept to production, including final arts and installation considerations.

These interventions were designed to live permanently inside the venue, creating visual landmarks and interactive moments for visitors before, during, and after concerts.

Results

The project helped turn Vive Claro into a more complete spatial experience, not only a concert venue. The interventions added identity, movement, color, and interaction to the visitor journey.

It also shows my ability to move between creative direction, parametric design, 3D modeling, technical documentation, fabrication thinking, and real-world installation.
