For Festival Estéreo Picnic 2025, I designed the food zone sponsored by McDonald’s as part of the festival experience. The goal was to move away from a typical brand activation and create a space that felt more artistic, playful, and connected to the visual energy of the festival.

My role covered the full process: layout, planning, design of the visual elements, and preparation of final production artwork.

Starting point

The challenge was to integrate a major sponsor without making the area feel like a conventional branded stand. The food zone needed to be functional for circulation and service, but also visually memorable for festival visitors.

Problem solving

The design approach focused on creating a festival atmosphere first, and a brand presence second. I worked on the spatial layout to organize the area clearly, then developed graphic and artistic elements that could make the zone feel more immersive.

The McDonald’s presence was integrated through color, scale, and visual rhythm, without relying only on standard logo placement.

Implementation

The final package included the food zone layout, visual direction, artistic elements, and final artwork files prepared for production. The project connected planning, graphic design, spatial design, and sponsor integration into one cohesive area.

Results

The project turned the sponsored food zone into a more expressive part of the festival, giving McDonald’s visibility while keeping the experience aligned with Festival Estéreo Picnic’s creative identity.

It shows how brand activations can feel less corporate and more spatial, using design to create atmosphere instead of only advertising.
