This project was created for the 100th anniversary of the first Citizen watch. The Bogotá event was part of a global celebration developed in different cities around the world, including Tokyo, Paris, Bogotá, New York, and one additional city.
The event took place at Espacio Odeón, a gallery in the historic center of Bogotá. The experience worked as a party and exhibition, showing the evolution of Citizen watches from the first model to the newest collection through lighting, spatial design, and parametric installations.

Starting point
The project started from the challenge of transforming a gallery space into a premium timeline experience. The design had to present 100 years of watch history while keeping the architectural character of Espacio Odeón.
A key part of the concept was to guide visitors through different moments of time using spatial elements: a tunnel, illuminated signs, a pyramid-shaped display, projection surfaces, and product exhibition tables.

Problem solving
This was a highly parametric design process. Several of the main elements were developed through parametric modeling, especially the entrance tunnel, the exhibition signs, and the pyramid structure.
The parametric workflow allowed fast testing of proportions, curvature, scale, structure, and visual impact inside the existing gallery. This helped turn the brand concept into buildable spatial pieces while keeping the experience clean, precise, and immersive.
The visual system also included a Citizen phylogeny, a timeline-like graphic that mapped the evolution of the watches as a family tree.

Implementation
The final proposal combined exhibition design, lighting, brand identity, and parametric fabrication logic. The space included a large timeline wall, product display tables, a luminous tunnel, branded signs, and a pyramid installation that helped organize the historical narrative.
The parametric components gave the project flexibility during design development, making it easier to adjust each piece to the spatial constraints of Espacio Odeón and prepare the elements for production.

Results
The project created a premium exhibition environment for Citizen’s anniversary in Bogotá, connecting watchmaking history with a contemporary spatial experience.
The final result used parametric design, light, graphics, and architecture to turn the brand timeline into an immersive visitor journey.
